Nice, so what he don't try get german passport. He have german origin. Maybe he cannot have double nationality. I read about one of Brazilian players who play in Polish League. His name is Batata. He think that will be play in Polish National Team when he get Polish passport, but Brazilian gouverment say him that he cannot have double nationality, so Batata relinquish Brailian Nationality. He never starting to PNT. So time ago he come back to Brazil, but after half year he must come back to Poland becouse in Brazil he was without permission to permanent residence :laugh:

This is strange story, becouse all of us know that many of Brazilian players have dobule or triple Nationality, but If I know this is true story.

According to AS, Diego Maradona’s son-in-law, who will be playing his fourth season with Los Colchoneros, has met all requirements to hold a second citizenship, including spending over two years in Spain as a professional.

If and when he obtains his naturalisation, he will free up one of the three non-EU spots in the squad and allow the club more flexibility to sign players in the future. Cleber Santana and Leandro Cabrera currently hold the other two foreign nationality places, but Atleti have been busy chasing another Argentine prospect: Lanus’ 19-year-old forward, Eduardo Salvio.

Although this commitment does not guarantee his loyalty to Atletico, AS believes that the player is happy to remain in Spain and at the Vicente Calderon.

Atletico must decide on non-EU players, coach says

MADRID, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Atletico Madrid will have more than the three non-European Union players La Liga rules allow if the purchase of 19-year-old Argentina forward Eduardo Salvio goes through, coach Quique Sanchez Flores said on Saturday.

"It's true that if Salvio's arrival is confirmed we will have too many non-EU players," he told a news conference. "We know that and we are in discussions about it and we'll have to make a decision."

Salvio's club, Lanus, said this week they had accepted Atletico's offer of 8 million euros ($11.5 million) and As sports daily reported on Saturday he would arrive in Madrid on Monday to finalise the deal.

The paper also said Atletico planned to offload Brazilian midfielder Cleber Santana to make room for Salvio.
